The trip to Corvo
Corvo. More than a journey.
Going to Corvo is not just about leaving Flores and arriving at another point on the map.
It’s about experiencing the Atlantic as it truly is.
Along the way, the scenery is constantly changing, towering cliffs, sea caves shaped by the ocean, and waterfalls falling straight into the sea. Some days, dolphins appear and travel alongside you. Other days, the ocean surprises you in different ways. No two crossings are ever the same.
And that’s exactly what makes this experience special.
With Marco, you’re going with someone who knows these waters like few others. More than just driving the boat, he reads the ocean, adapts the journey, and ensures everything happens naturally, without rush or anything staged.
On board The DogFather, you travel with comfort, safety, and confidence. It’s not just transportation, it’s part of the experience, fully prepared to show you the very best of this route.
There’s no rush to arrive.
What matters is everything that happens along the way.
And when you finally reach Corvo, you realize it wasn’t just a trip, it was a different kind of day, lived authentically, connected to the ocean and nature.
If you’re just looking for transport, there are other options.
If you want to truly experience this journey, you’re in the right place.

What our Customers say
Our priority is the satisfaction of our customers 😀

We had an unforgettable trip with Skipper Marco and his crew, who made the whole experience feel like an adventure rather than just transport. The ride itself was already worth it — fast, fun, and with a real chance of spotting dolphins or even whales along the way.
Once on Corvo, there’s plenty of time to explore: a beautiful hike up to the crater and a relaxed walk through the charming village. It’s the perfect balance of nature and authenticity.
And the best part? The way back. We hugged the coast of Flores, passing waterfalls, caves, and dramatic cliffs — with a few extra fun moments that made everyone smile.
Highly recommend this experience if you want something memorable, a bit thrilling, and way more special than the ferry.

Bring some water and wind proofing clothes. There are not a lot of food options in Corvo, better to come prepared and pack lunch.

The visit to the Corvo crater was very interesting, and the times were very well calculated.
On the way back we were lucky enough to be able to see dolphins, what more could you ask for!
An unforgettable day!! I recommend everyone who goes to Flores to do this trip, it is very worth it.

Totally recommended!

The tour began along the stunning coastline of Flores, where we explored sea caves, passed by dramatic cliffs, and got up close to beautiful waterfalls cascading into the ocean. From there, we set off toward Corvo and were lucky to spot a group of playful dolphins along the way.
Captain Marco made the whole experience even more enjoyable with his energy, knowledge, and sense of humor.
A few tips for Corvo:
There’s only one restaurant on the island, and while the food is decent, options are limited. A great alternative is to bring your own picnic and enjoy it at the top of the crater while taking in the incredible views. If you’re planning to hike, make sure to come prepared — bring water, snacks, and anything else you might need, as there aren’t many services on the island.
At the same time the boat ride itself was a real adventure which we enjoyed a lot. Thanks again
For information, do not park at the port, we got punctured
2 tires….
We had the chance to have a great weather and to watch two groups of dolphins.
The way to Corvo was just amazing!
